I love the food. Service is amazing.. It's a clean place. Great for dates and family events

I used to work nearby this Pedro's location a longtime ago. Out most recent visit was July 5, 2024 This location is very nice, inside out. Plenty of seating and very clean. It's great for groups and even banquets. Our server Juan was on his A game serving our large group. The food and cocktails were very good too.

This place is WONDERFUL!! Me and my family of 3 went to Levi Stadium to try and watch the Columbia v. Brazil game but finding parking was impossible so we ditched the game and went here to eat. The building is beautiful and so spacious! The music was at a perfect volume and fit the vibe. The food was wonderful and so flavorful. They had a pretty varied menu with lots of vegetarian and Gluten free options. I got the Chicken pastor tacos and it was soooooo good. They have table side guacamole and when you ask for the chips and salsa THREE different kinds of salsa come, All delicious! The customer service was great too! They were efficient and the food came out quickly. They were kind and respectful. HIGHLY recommend if you're in the Santa Clara area.

In the Santa Clara area for business and was traveling with a colleague to waste time at a trade show instead of going out to meet customers and get some orders. Sorry, I have already digressed and usually that is much later in my reviews... It was up to me to find somewhere to eat for dinner after the agony of the very slow and unattended trade was over for the day. I used to work for a company that had their HQ in Santa Clara and we would go to Pedros quite often while in town for meetings and customer visits. So, I thought, what the heck, let's give it a go and see if it is as good as I remember. When we were walking in, the colleague who was the driver and was given the name and location by me to get us there said, "I ate here yesterday." What? I offered to go to another place, but he said he had enjoyed it last night and wanted to try something else on the menu. Well, that's a good sign. Don't you think? We checked in with the host and were guided to a table by our waitress, Dulce. Dulce recognized the colleague from the night before and that was kind of funny. We sat at our table and Dulce gave us menus and later brought water and chips and salsa while we decided what to have. The chips and salsa were very good. Thin, warm crunchy chips. Three salsas were all delicious with none of them being overly spicy. I could have used one with more spice, but I did not ask for something like that and likely could have. One of the salsas was very smokey and that one was my favorite. Try them all! The colleague had ordered the mole enchiladas the night before and he really liked them. He had a hard time doing it, but he ordered something else and as soon as Dulce walked away, he had a brief regret of not getting them again. What he ordered was the two choice combo with a chili relleno, the red sauce chicken enchilada and chose the vegetables instead of rice. For me, I was craving my memory of their sizzling mixed fajita plate with shrimp and steak, but the combo was not on the menu so I decided to ask and see if I could do that. Before our server came back to the table, I had suddenly changed my mind and went for the chili verde, one of my favorite Mexican food items. Passed on the rice and asked only for beans. Our order was taken and before we could put our napkins in our laps, the food was placed before us and the plates and food were very hot! Don't touch the plate hot. Your lips or tongue would stick to the plate hot. HOT. We waited a bit before digging in. I took a chunk of the pork from the chili verde and after blowing on it, stuffed it into my mouth. The inside of the chunk was not hot, it was molten lava! I almost had to spit it out, which would have been really cool in front of the colleague. I did the mouth open, push the lava around with the tongue so it doesn't stay in one place to burn anything, inhaling and exhaling to cool things off, before I could chew the chunk and swallow. Whew. Slow down tiger and let it cool off some more. Chili Verde - very, very good. Tasty, pork cooked perfectly, nice spice. I did not use any tortillas with it, since I just wanted to taste the chili verde. Yum. You will not be disappointed, you will love it and then you will send me a note on Yelp saying, "thank you, thank you, thank you, for telling me to get the chili verde. You are so awesome" You are welcome. The colleague liked the chili relleno and the enchilada. The highlight for him was the grilled vegetables that had a great spice and he really enjoyed them. Made me regret not giving them a try. Perhaps next time. Dulce was a great server, friendly and took good care of us while we were there. Thanks! Go. Eat Well. HAVE FUN! p.s. I completely zoned out and only took one picture of the empty part of the restaurant. It's empty because we were there for a very early dinner.

Great food and extremely great service! I happen to go on Cinco de Mayo and they were having some fun festivities. I ordered chips and salsa and carne asada fajitas. The chips and salsa are not complimentary, but they were worth the cost. The salsa verde was by far my favorite. The carne asada fajitas were served sizzling hot with onions and bell peppers. Delicious. I couldn't decide on corn or flour tortillas, so they brought both. The corn were my favorite. I wish I had room for dessert, but sadly I was stuffed. I'll definitely be back again. And for the vegetarians out there, I did notice they had 5 or 6 vegetarian options.

Oh No ! There are no more free chips and salsa! It's $6 now. Food here is solid, never bad food but just like most chains, there are nothing special about the menu, though I like now they have 2 tacos or 3 tacos on the menu and mix and match to choose from. We came here when we want to seat down and dont want to wait. Service is always fast and plaisant with kind smile. Ambiece are random, family and mostly seniors, there are a chance you and your goup will be seatting in a room by yourself , there are so many room in this place you never wait for table, don' t expect to interact with stranger. For my family, its not high on our list but its a comfortable place you can go get a dinner from time to time when you want to eat mexican food when you dont want to cook.

I love Pedro's! Such a Los Gatos staple. I come here every few months with my friend. We love coming here because they have these really cute booths that are totally separate from everyone else. We bring our laptops and get some work done while enjoying some good food! I personally love the enchiladas hadas (crab and shrimp enchiladas) and the chicken enchiladas with red sauce. I wanted to try beef this time too, so I ordered off the "choose 2" menu. Both were so good! My friend ordered off the brunch menu and ordered the eggs huevos. She ate all of it and loved it!

In my quest to find the best chips and salsa within 30 minutes of my house, I ended up at Pedro's on a Thursday afternoon. I've been in the Bay Area since 2012, and even though I've passed Pedro's many times, I've never eaten here. Nostalgia. Pulling up into the parking lot and entering the restaurant made me remember my childhood. We'd go to a Mexican restaurant with similar hacienda vibes and decor when I was a child and suddenly I was kid again. I loved the interior of this restaurant--bright and spacious. I got a table for one and ordered chips and salsa ($6). They aren't free here, and I'm not quite sure if they do free chip and salsa refills because I could not finish my chips and salsa. The chips were crispy and warm, but the chips and salsa trio all needed salt. I ordered red sauce enchiladas with cheese and a green sauce enchilada with chicken. I also did something very rare and got a crispy taco! Again--it was all because of my childhood. I haven't had a crispy taco as an adult at a Mexican restaurant in nearly 20 years. The red sauce enchilada contained onions and black olives. I found the flavor of the red and green sauce to be perfect. The rice was also good! The only thing missing from my throwback experience was a mariachi band singing while playing. Next time I visit, I hope to come in the evening to see what the vibes are like. I'd also love to see what dessert options they have. Pedro's is solid for California style Mexican food. I will be back.

Came by with a group for dinner. We each ordered our own entrees and split chips and salsa and guac. The apps were good, but a bit on the pricier side. I personally ordered the steak tacos. Meat was cooked very well. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Decor is a bit dated inside, but there is a ton of space for seating inside, and some seating outside as well. Staff was friendly. Parking available on site.
